Location
Collaroy Beach is located 22 km north east of the CBD, right in the middle of Sydney’s superb Northern Beaches. The beach is 3.4 km long and provides excellent swimming and surfing conditions with four Surf Lifesaving Clubs patrol the beach during the summer months.
It’s safe for beginners but also popular amongst intermediate or advanced surfers. Just across the road from the beach (on Pittwater Rd) there is a good variety of shops including cafes, restaurants, takeaway bars, a pharmacy, several hairdressers, day spa, post office and EFTPOS facilities.
